Made this for a customer, bronze with a brass heart, it positively glows with a lightly rose colored sheen. I am really into it.
Just like my last bronze gem earrings, but shorter for people who like a little less earring with their earring.
Been playing around with some new ideas. Making gems out of metal is one of them. These are the result. Carved from a single slab of bronze, then faceted with a file, buffed to a high shine with silver posts. I really like the way these came out, and they go well with other earrings if you have multiple piercings.
From a customers design, a lovely black cat (oxidized copper) over brushed copper cog. With bronze rivets.
This is the first belt buckle I have ever made. Copper with bronze. It was a lot of fun making it and I am eager to try another one. This is going to end up a present for my grandpa who used to be a farmer.
Made this for the Katamari Cat Alley Cat race…I personally was not very happy with how it came out. It was all very thick and I was very new to soldering.
It was brass, bronze, copper, and came out…meh.
Some more pictures of the bronze crows I made forever ago.
A collection of sample test pieces I made while learning how to do salt water etching. It’s actually really easy, I will write a post about how to make these sort of things later. I used copper, brass, bronze, and steel.
