Got these lovely pictures from a client I made a “corn” cog badge for. I really like the way this looks, and am glad that it fits so well on the new bike.

Flying Pig Chain Guard Badge
This badge is going to go on a custom chain guard, as such it needed to be nice and tough to survive any kicking, dings, or other rough and tough. 14 gauge copper, with 16 gauge brass wings, all sealed up to preserve the “pink” of the pig. I think it came out rather nice, and it has a great heft in the hand when you hold it.
Only Speed Can Set Me Free Ulock Badge
This badge is made from copper and emblazoned with the words “only speed can set me free” with a crow in flight. It has been oxidized and then polished to give it a nice finish that will last for years.
I often feel this way, if I can just push my bike a little faster I can outrun all the problems in my life. Speed sets you free.
I also enjoy the irony of putting something like this on the lock that holds your bicycle in one spot.
Affix to your U-lock by removing the silly plastic cover thing and then using JB Weld or similar epoxy to affix the badge over the lock hole. Sized for a Kryptonite brand mini U-lock (SKU – 997931)
Steampunk U-Lock Badge
So I was trying to make something really clean and nice looking…but I am a moron and was using the totally wrong solder…so I ended up with a gritty steam punk U-lock badge instead….
I sorta like the end results, came out very gritty and after a bit of polishing it doesn’t look half bad.
U-Lock Badge
I have an old Kryptonite U-lock that I have had for a couple years, does a great job of locking up my bike, but is kind of ugly…hence the U-lock badge was born.
I think I am going to start selling these guys as custom products like the head badges.
